The app does not require an account
You can use How Much Travel without creating a profile or providing personal account information.
Information stored on your device
The app stores your settings, custom cards, trips and purchase history locally on your device. This information is used to provide the app's features and is not sold.
Optional Shared Trips and iCloud
If you create or join a Shared Trip, the trip's members, purchases, balances and repayments are stored and synchronised using Apple's iCloud and CloudKit services. That information is shared with the people invited to the trip. Shared Trip notifications are optional and can be disabled in the app or device settings.
Exchange-rate and tax information
The app may connect to exchange-rate and tax information services to fetch current reference data. No personal account information is sent by the app when requesting this information.
Optional location access
If you choose automatic region selection, the app uses your location while the app is in use to identify your country, state, province, county or city and estimate the applicable tax rate. Your precise location is not stored in purchase history or sold. You can deny or disable location access and select a destination manually.
Website privacy
This website does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics. Our hosting provider may process standard technical information, such as an IP address and browser details, to deliver and secure the website.
